Join us as the GCO presents a captivating medley of Tchaikovsky's original score, Duke Ellington's jazz rendition, and vibrant salsa-inspired variations, redefining the essence of this seasonal favorite. Immerse yourself in a unique spectacle, where the orchestra and jazz band, accompanied by talented guest artists from three great American ballet companies: Ingrid Silva and Dylan Santos of Dance Theatre of Harlem, Vinicius Lima of Ballet West, and Mackenzie Kenyon of NB2 at Nashville Ballet, as well as children from the Clarksville-based studio Classic Steps II. Additionally, local visual artist Kitty Harvill will create paintings live during the concerts inspired by the performances on stage. This season, prepare to be enthralled by an exhilarating new section of music and choreography commissioned exclusively for this event. Come meet the Sugar Plum Fairy and her friends on stage immediately following our 3:00pm performance of The Nutcracker. Guests have the opportunity to take a photo with some of our guest artists, as well as receive a small gift and treat. We hope to see our patrons of all ages there!
