America’s Haydn Festival

April 2-6, 2020

The Gateway Chamber Orchestra Board of Directors is closely monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19 in the Middle Tennessee community. As of result of the uncertainty around this rapidly-developing public health emergency, we have made the difficult decision to cancel America’s Haydn Festival this April 2nd-6th. Those who have purchased tickets to any festival events can expect a communication from the GCO Board in the near future with further information.

The GCO is committed to doing our part to protect the health of our patrons and musicians, as well as the public health of our communities. For more information about COVID-19, including ways to protect yourself and those around you, please visit www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html.

America’s Haydn Festival is a music festival that that honors the father of the Symphony and the String Quartet, Franz Joseph Haydn. The festival features multiple concerts over five days at various venues in Clarksville and Franklin, Tennessee and Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

The GCO is especially pleased to present a performance for the military community at Fort Campbell Army Post as part of the festival.  Soldiers, their families and members of the military community are invited to hear some wonderful musicians in a very up close and personal setting.

The Sounds of Home Chorus will also make an appearance during the festival and special performances by the Omer Quartet.
